The team offers skilled nursing care to people who are ill or recovering from an illness. It also offers training and support to carers. The district nurse will plan your care with you and your carer. This plan is left in your home and regularly updated to suit your health needs. Equipment loans and assessment for any aids can be arranged.
Advice and support is available to overcome most incontinence problems.

Health Visitor Team
Health visitors are qualified nurses with special training and experience in child health, health promotion and health education. They are supported by care assistants and are available to everyone regardless of age or sex.
Each of the five surgeries has a named health visitor. Health visitors are subject to a code of professional conduct requiring them to act at all times in your interest. Typical situations where a health visitor can help are:
